Network Marketing Success Keys: Do You Know Them?

These days there are an abundance of definitions of what multilevel marketing is. My definition: network marketing is a proven distribution model that enables people to send products and services through a network of other distributors and consumers . Doing this produces ongoing leveraged residual income. Both Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki dig this concept and recommend network marketing by the way.

Here are the essential element to a network marketing business: 1-Marketing your business to Generate leads 2-Prospecting those leads and Building a solid relationship with them 3-Selling products and services to them 4-Training people to train others do the same thing

These parts may sound simple, but if it was you probably wouldn't be reading this article :) The naked truth is that only a smattering of folks really understand how important ALL these multilevel marketing puzzle pieces are and how to arrange them successfully. And these are the convention stage walking, pin-level jumping, you wish-you-were-them, successful network marketers you keep hearing about.

Marketing efforts- this is MARKETING 101 folks. Marketing is effective communication to a laser targeted audience that makes them do something. That something could be to opt in to a list, register for a webinar or join your multilevel marketing venture. If you don't spend time getting the marketing basics down be prepared to spend a lot of your precious time being frustrated because your business may grow quite slowly.

Prospecting your leads and building a relationship with them involves understanding what motivates people but also HOW to talk to people answering questions and dealing with objections. With network marketing, once you generate leads you WILL need to talk to them at some point and build a relationship. The nature of that relationship will determine whether they decide to join your business or buy into your service. Believe it or not, they aren't joining your business, they are joining YOU based on how much they know like and trust you and how influential they see you as a leader and how much they believe you can help them succeed in network marketing. Therefore you need to learn how to talk to people and how to influence people so they see you as solution to their problems. This in my book in part of becoming a LEADER.

Promoting products and services - If you're not getting the word out either through word of mouth or in combination with a marketing strategy.Your network marketing business is DOA everyday you aren't moving any products or services or the business and the word isn't getting out. Ideally you should have a marketing system that does the bulk of the telling and selling for you. But you should have a basic understanding of your product/service/business, what it does and why your distributor/customer should obtain it or join.

Training others to do the same - When you get a new distributor you don't just stop here. In fact this where the real work begins because you have to teach this newbie what you just did. This is where systems really shine. Just like you plugged your prospect into a marketing system you should plug them right into an effective training system that will get the new person up and running and in profit as soon as possible. If a new distributor isn't making any money after 90 days statistics show they will quit. Many new distributors themselves haven't been effectively trained by their own upline unfortunately. Don't let this stop you. Find a duplicable yet simple system that will help train your new distributors effectively to maximize your network marketing business success.
